We do not purchase, sell or share data with any other party and strictly adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016. This is effective in law as of the 25th May 2018.
Data protection laws state that we are only able to process personal data if we have valid reasons to do so. The reasons we process your personal data with your consent include, but are not limited to: fulfilment of your order, billing, and to contact you with regards to your interaction with the William Wilde store and/or products.
Email Newsletter Subscription:
Only with your permission, we will email you to notify you of promotions and new collections that may be of interest to you. We only send a handful of emails per year.
We will only email you to fulfil and process your order; and then with your consent, to let you know about relevant news relating to 'William Wilde' products as outlined above. We will never pass on your email address or personal information to a third party.
When purchasing from William Wilde, you will not automatically be subscribed to our email list unless you have chosen to be/opted in. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by choosing ‘unsubscribe’ via the link in our email flyers, or by emailing us at the studio with your request: email@example.com
Any personal details that you have given to us are held solely by:

The personal information that we hold will only be the information that you have most recently provided, (or provided at the point of starting an account with us.) You can check the information that we hold about you online in your account at any time. If you find any inaccuracies, you can either contact us, or edit the info yourself.
Information may be collected in the background about your origin and online behaviour, for example, whether you have found us through google or come via facebook etc. This information is available for us to access, but currently we do not view or use any of this information. This sort of information would only be used for us to understand our customers better, and to improve the shopping experience.
If you have an account with us and have added items to your basket, but have not checked out, you may receive an 'abandoned checkout' email; simply as a reminder that the items are still available to purchase should you wish.
Placing an order:
On placing an order with us, you will receive an automatic email confirmation detailing the items in your order and your delivery address. You will then receive another email when your item is despatched with tracking details. Outside of those automated emails, we will only email you personally if we have questions about your order specifically, or if you have asked us to make contact in your order notes.
