Filthy Wilde, the new collection by designer William Wilde is now available to buy on WilliamWilde.com!
A delicious concoction of Egyptian inspired exotica, excess, and dramatic Deco decadence, Filthy Wilde for the first time marries the designer's signature latex clothing with lace, jewels, feathers and beautifully draped silk jersey dresses.
The palette is mint and jungle green, kohl black and peacock jade, with accents of fuscia and Midas gold.
Key latex pieces in the collection include jewel encrusted evening gowns with peacock feather trims, latex-lined lace party dresses and fishnet printed lingerie. De lempicka inspired prints on silk jersey dresses are floor-length and dramatic, with cowelled skirts and plunging necklines; a Liz Taylor cash print is the Jewel in the Crown.
Pieces from the Filthy Wilde collection have already been picked up in British Vogue and by Paloma Faith:
Filthy Wilde launched in spectacular style with a show during London Fashion Week at the infamous Box nightclub in Soho. Star Model Daisy Lowe shone on the stage, opening and closing the show in jewels, feathers, sequins and latex. Egyptian inspired Lowe was Cleopatra re-born!
Intimate and heady, the show boasted breath-taking beauties, decadently draped in dresses of silk, lace & latex. Notorious for his latex clothing, Wilde in this collection has introduced a range of beautifully printed Silk Jersey dresses: jewelled rubber and latex lined lace dresses also charmed the crowd.
If you missed the launch show, don't worry you can still see the video below:
Designer William Wilde previewed his Autumn/Winter collection 'Go Wilde' earlier this week at Somerset House for London Fashion Week, to a warm and sunny reception.
Bold striped patterns in hand-glued yellow, black and white latex featured on bodycon pencil dresses and jackets. The collection is bright, immediately iconic and unmistakably Wilde.
Wilde has so far gained notoriety for dressing Rihanna in her infamous S&M video, Daisy Lowe, Paloma Faith and Kelly Brook to name a few. His work has also been featured in Vogue, Stylist, The Sunday Times, Elle, Vanity Fair, Super Super and various other magazines.
