Latex Clothing Size Information:

Please find info below to assist you in choosing your perfect size at William Wilde.

Simply align your own dimensions with the chart below as accurately as possible to find the size that will flatter you best. Latex clothing is cut smaller than the body for a snug, flattering fit, so the measurements in the chart below are not the same as the garments measured when flat. We have taken the stretch of latex into account, so you do not need to consider that when choosing your size.

Please scroll down below the size chart for a guide to taking measurements, and size guidance regarding our stockings & mittens.

Latex fit notes:

If you find that your measurements are between our standard sizes (in the chart below), we usually advise choosing the size up. Latex is cut smaller than the body, so the garment will still in fact be a little smaller than your body, and will be more comfortable than sizing down. This can be debated a little, as some customers would rather go for a super tight fit, the choice is yours, as the latex will most likely stretch to accommodate a size up or down, but generally the size up is the more popular choice. (Latex is more at risk of tearing when worn very tight).

An a additional note on fit, if you are between sizes, smaller garments, like items of lingerie, are likely to be more flattering if you choose to size up.

Our bras are sold in 'dress sizes' and are not underwired, so please align your bust measurement with the chart below for the most accurate fit.

Taking measurements:

Please find below some notes, and a diagram to assist with taking your own measurements:

Bust: The bust measurement should be taken around the widest part of the bust (the nipple line), while keeping the tape measure straight/snug across the back (not sagging). It is best to take this measurement wearing a bra, but not one that is padded or that will distort the size of the bust, (unless you intend to wear your latex over this specific bra).

Waist: The waist measurement should be taken around your natural waist, (usually the narrowest part). Keep the tape measure taught, but don't pull too tight as this will give an inaccurate measure.

Hip: The hip is approximately 20cm below the waist, or at the widest part of your hip. (We will always be considering the hip as approximately 20cm below the waist when giving guidance).

Length: We will always refer to the length of skirts and dresses from the waistline to the hem.

Latex Stockings Size Information:

Please see info below to help assist with choosing your size in our latex stockings and knee socks:

Relating to the image on the left, the below measurements have been taken from the stockings laid flat, (while the latex is ‘unstretched’). Latex stockings will comfortably stretch approx. 8-12.5cm* to fit, so your own thigh and calf measurements should be approx 8-12.5cm larger than the measurements below. Example: A thigh with measurement 50cm, would best suit our size Medium.

XS: Thigh: 36.5cm, Calf: 25.5cm
SMALL: Thigh 38.5cm, Calf: 28cm
MEDIUM: Thigh: 40.5cm, Calf: 30.5cm
LARGE: Thigh: 43cm, Calf: 33cm
XL: Thigh: 45.5cm, Calf: 35cm

*Our Black latex stockings are cut from 0.33mm latex, this is a thinner latex and will stretch further, and more comfortably. Our coloured latex stockings are in 0.45mm latex, this will stretch slightly less, so we would only advise up to an 8cm stretch. (Example: A thigh with measurement 50cm, would best suit our size Large in coloured stockings.)

The length at the back seam is approx. 62.5cm for all sizes, we can alter this upon request, but the stretch of latex often means that this is not necessary.

NB: Our knee socks do not come as high as the thigh, but the above info will apply to help choose the best fit.

Latex Mittens Size Information:

Please see info below to help assist with choosing your size in our latex mittens:

Relating to the image on the right, the below measurements have been taken from the mittens laid flat, (while the latex is ‘unstretched’). Latex mittens will comfortably stretch approx. 6-10cm* to fit, so your own bicep measurements should be approx 6-10cm larger than the measurements below. Example: A bicep with measurement 28cm, would best suit our size Small/Medium.

SMALL/MEDIUM: Bicep: 20.5cm, Wrist: 14.5cm

LARGE/EXTRA LARGE: Bicep: 22cm, Wrist: 16cm

*Our Black latex mittens are cut from 0.33mm latex, this is a thinner latex and will stretch further, and more comfortably. Our coloured latex mittens are in 0.45mm latex, this will stretch slightly less, so we would only advise up to a 6cm stretch. (Example: A bicep with measurement 28cm, would best suit our size L/XL in coloured mittens.)

The length is approx. 46cm for both sizes, we can alter this upon request, but the stretch of latex often means that this is not necessary.
